Operations Manager
• I led a multidisciplinary team consisting of a Product Owner and three developers in a high-growth startup environment, overseeing the simultaneous development of an iOS and Android application along with a web portal for a offers and coupons marketplace.
• I supervised the project scope and requirements, closely collaborating with the Product Owner to develop and refine User Stories aligned with strategic business objectives.
• I facilitated smooth communication and collaboration within the team, using agile methodologies to ensure efficient workflows and address impediments encountered during the development of the application and web portal.
• I successfully supervised the integration of around 40 clients into OferTap, ensuring an efficient process within three days after the agreement was signed. I conducted training sessions to familiarize clients with the web platform and trained retail staff on effective coupon redemption.
• I used data analysis to identify customer trends and behaviors, generating impactful promotions that improved customer engagement and overall platform performance.
Operations Coordinator
• In charge of the import department, responsible for optimizing resources and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and organize daily activities of the staff, ensure customs processes are up-to-date, and handle special permits for the import of controlled products. This led to a reduction in department operating costs, saving approximately $90,000 annually.
• Led the development, in collaboration with the IT team, of a web portal for document provisioning and verification to be presented at customs using the company's SAP system. This improved information flow and digitalized data for quick and effective use.
• Maintain direct communication with suppliers, customs authorities, and transportation companies, establishing strong business relationships.
• Handle claims with suppliers for delays, inconsistencies, and damages.
Quality Control Supervisor
• In charge of overseeing four other quality control inspectors, ensuring their records are accurate and issuing non-conformance reports for quality issues.
• Analyze, test, and measure products to ensure they meet the predetermined quality standards of clients such as Tesla, General Motors, and International, as well as ISO standards.
• Document all inspection activities, maintain accurate records, and provide information to the Quality and Production teams.
